Wind Europe organization offers through its website valuable information about all these conferences and exhibitions

The pandemic situation caused by the Covid-19 illness is having a significant impact on the offshore wind industry as well as in the other sectors. The sanitary emergency scenario has implied the rescheduled or cancellation of some of the most relevant events due to the impossibility of holding meetings.

In order to update the state of these European key conferences and exhibitions, Wind Europe offers through its website valuable information about all these events.

Firstly, Wind Europe mentions the events the association organizes. The first one will be End-of-life issues and strategies (EOLIS) seminar 2020 that will be celebrated between the 19th and the 20th of November in Brussels. After that, the Wind Energy Hamburg 2020 will take place between the 1st and the 4th of December in the German city. The same month, in Amsterdam, the Re-source 2020 event will celebrate its next edition. And finally, in 2021, between the 27th and 29th of April, the Wind Europe Electric City conference will return to Copenhagen.

Wind Europe’s website also offers information about the other most relevant events of the sector: the RE-Source UK 2020, that will be happening the 7th of September in London; the Hybrid Renewables Conference, that will be taking place the 8th of October in Amsterdam; the Global Offshore Wind 2020, that will be celebrated between the 27th and the 28th of October in Manchester; and the 14th Austrian Wind symposium, scheduled for the 25th of November in Vienna.

ROMEO Project, a European initiative backed by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 programme, is committed with the reinforcement of the links with the main European actors in the field of wind and renewable energy, therefore frequently participates on relevant meeting points and events to showcase its progresses.

The initiative aims to reduce the O&M costs of offshore wind installations through the development of advanced monitoring systems and strategies.
