The event, hosted by INEA last September in Brussels, was a great chance to create synergies between different EU-funded project

ROMEO project participated in the 2nd Clustering Meeting for H2020 Wind Energy projects organized by The Innovation and Networks Executive Agency (INEA) last 14th September. Discuss current policies, find opportunities for collaboration and create synergies between projects have been the main objectives of the second edition of this internal meeting.

The meeting, that has been hosted in Brussels, gathered coordinators from different European wind energy projects participating in H2020 programme. The meeting was a great occasion to further the cooperation between H2020 projects and discuss together policy context, synergies and cooperation opportunities.

The event brought together 11 EU-funded projects, including ReaLCoe, ROMEO, Elican, EcoSwing, Riblet4Wind, TELWIND, LIFES 50 plus, CL-Windcon, TotalControl, UPWARDS and WinWind. Each project had the chance to present their objectives, main milestones and achievements, expected specific impact and major challenges and barriers.

In addition, the clustering meeting was the perfect place to knowledge exchange and to talk about best practices, important to advance in the development of innovative technologies for the future of the wind energy sector. Furthermore, representatives of different projects discussed on potential synergies and ideas for possible further joint activities.

ROMEO Project thanks the organization of this kind of events, which not only promote cooperation between projects, but also help to promote innovation and research in the wind energy sector.
