ScottishPower Renewables, third party of our Project and part of Iberdrola, will showcase ROMEO in the 5th edition of Wind Power Big Data and IoT Forum
ScottishPower Renewables, third party of ROMEO Project and part of our partner Iberdrola, will take part in the 5th edition of Wind Power Big Data and IoT Forum , that will be held from 26th to 27th June in Prague (Czech Republic). Intended for representatives of sectors such as wind power, IT, energy, engineering or operation and maintenance, the forum will be a good opportunity to showcase ROMEO, connecting the project with representatives key players from Europe.
On Wednesday 27th, Robert Jones, Lead Asset Performance Analysis Engineer at ScottishPower Renewables, will be talking about advanced data analytics and predictive maintenance. In this context, he will share with attendees information about ROMEO Project, such as objectives, phases, expected results, pilot test and main milestones achieved. Jones will be accompanied by Jose Carlos Araujo Martin, Asset Performance Manager at Iberdrola Renovables.
Recently, consortium partners have met in Copenhagen to celebrate their General Assembly and perform a follow up of the project and define the next steps in order the achieve the success. The project continues to move in the right direction and the presence of our partners in industry events is essential to reach the stakeholders.
In addition, Robert Jones, who joined ScottisPower Renewables in 2013, will participate on Tuesday 26th in an interactive roundtable discussion about the future of European Wind Turbine Markets, where experts from different companies will analyse new trends and business models for wind turbine industry and the impact and future of IoT in the sector.
With 25 speakers, 20 interactive sessions and 2 workshops, this event aims to disclose practical insights for optimize data analysis to improve performance and take advantage of risk-based supervision to drive greater efficiency. The attendees would receive the roadmap for obtaining cybersecurity in the age of digital transformation apart from getting an overview of the forefront tools and techniques ensuring flawless wind farm performance.
